As a thank you for the first 6 people who got the album “Ashby” I made them all their own instrumental songs. They make up the new EP from The Squatches called “To the Dunes”. give it a listen:

The world of propaganda is most times quite sickening. Today we have seen one of the dumbest examples ever given to mankind through Barack Obama’s Life of Julia. It is the heart-warming tale of a young girl who has a dictator leading her country for what appears to be the entirety of her lifespan. In Barack’s version Julia seems to love dear leader and participate in every program the dictator can dream up. I have made my own version:
Anybody else out there think that copyright laws should be more like patent laws or perhaps even more unrestricted? Have you ever heard of the Mickey Mouse Curve? Do you know what Fair Use is and have you ever tried to actually make something under a Fair Use exception? Even if you have expertise in all of these I recommend this video:
Who has a mustache like Tom Seleck and a brain like Thomas Sowell? My latest man crush does and he is none other than, John Stossel. He spreads forth uncommon wisdom across the land and asks people many tough questions. While my man crush has limits, there is very little that I do not agree with Stossel on. And I very much enjoy how he can get people to think about things they have never thought about before. Check this lengthy vid:
Well today’s the day. The album has been released. Before you start to listen to any of it go ahead and set aside an hour. It ain’t easy being an album person in a single teeny-bop world. I made the album to be enjoyed as a whole and it does have a theme and a cohesive story. If anyone is curious about any of the songs meanings or inspirations I would be ecstatic to explain. Have a listen:
I don’t often find a politician that I want to publicly endorse, but I have found one that is too good to pass up on voting for. I thoroughly endorse..
A while back I sat down and listed all the songs I have written. When the list got around 100 I decided that I really wanted to record them and let others hear them. I got myself a good cheap mixer and started recording. Then I decided to set a goal and actually put out the first batch of them as an album. We are getting closer and closer to my goal date when I must cease all mixing and tweaks on Feb. 21 and release the songs regardless of how much I want to change them. I can change them no more after the 20th. Here is the track listing and order that I have decided on:
Well, I think it is time for those of you who stop by to get a little something early. I can’t promise that I won’t change the mix before Friday, when I will officially release and tell people about it, but you guys get to hear the first song (and a couple of b-sides) earlier than the rest of the world.
It is no secret that I really can’t stand government and it’s efforts to protect us from ourselves because we are just to dumb to do it. If you are as much a fan of paperwork and bureaucracy then you will enjoy this little clip:
