Quite a common quote thrown around is said to have been made by Thomas Jefferson. I have not been able to track down an actual reference for the statement coming from Jefferson and am prepared to publicly call B.S. on it. As with most things I leave it open to new information. I was once in a vegetative state back when I had television and saw what one could get away with calling a documentary about Ozzie Osbourne. There was a moment in the show when they started talking about a fairly famous incident which landed Ozzie in some trouble. I did not draw this but only colored it in. A friend had drawn it and given up on finishing it. I thought it was far too clever to not finish. Now gaze upon its glory.
At a church youth activity when I was in high school we had a stick pull competition. The two contestants sit on the ground with their feet together and pull on a stick between them, with the goal of pulling the other person out of their place or having them let go of the stick.
“You don’t have the right”, it’s a commonly heard phrase containing a commonly heard word. The word ‘right’ gets thrown around in such a haphazard and inconsistent way that it has almost lost all meaning.
