Police abuse of power is one of the things in this world that makes me angry faster than other things. I recently had an incident with an officer directing traffic who was doing a terrible job and giving bad instructions, who ended up threatening to damage my personal property because he is an idiot with a temper. Needless to say I was furious.
It is one thing to encounter an idiot cop directing traffic, it is quite another to have institutionalized policies which encourage abuse of power and violation of the rights of the people.
