Honk if You Love Capitalism

I am a big fan of capitalism. Although it is not my pie-in-the-sky favorite dream system, I see it as a system that truly reflects what is in the character of the people. I see it as a system that can automatically punish those who have poor character. I have argued that what we have in the U.S. is really an ugly hybrid of capitalism and various oligarchical traits.

We currently have a great many people in the world who are very confused about capitalism, regarding what it is and what it does. This confusion is partly due to the fact that all people know is what we are currently living under that is labeled as capitalism.

Someone Who Gets It – Marco Rubio

If you know me you know I am incredibly hard to please when it comes to selecting someone to represent me. I have paid some attention to Marco Rubio and have found him to be a person who understands a great many principles that I espouse myself. That is not to say that I agree wholeheartedly with anything he has said or will say. I just see him as one of the few who understand important principles. I saw this video today that pushed me even further into his camp, in spite of my not agreeing 100% with everything mentioned by him. It is just too bad that I can’t vote for him in anything coming up.

Isn’t it great to get that ever too rare breath of fresh air?

I Should Have Done That – Sharpton Edition

You may or may not know that MSNBC has given Al Sharpton his own show. He has said some funtastic things like the Dow is down “630%” and other genius stuff. But the other day he began to spill forth some of his greatest work. Behold the glory:

That is good as gold. Are you as fired up to fight for the communist cause in Wisconsin as I am?

Well, somebody was quick on the draw and whipped up a great t-shirt that captures the glory of this Braveheart-like battle cry. Behold greater glory:

You can buy your own here if you feel the power of that great speech.
