Well we have been in the midst of people campaigning for president in 2012 and I haven’t said much about it to date. Rest assured though I have been taking notes and I am here to fill you in on how crappy things really are. We will first take a look at old Newt Gingrich and any possible pros and cons he has.

I am a big fan of capitalism. Although it is not my pie-in-the-sky favorite dream system, I see it as a system that truly reflects what is in the character of the people. I see it as a system that can automatically punish those who have poor character. I have argued that what we have in the U.S. is really an ugly hybrid of capitalism and various oligarchical traits.

If you know me you know I am incredibly hard to please when it comes to selecting someone to represent me. I have paid some attention to Marco Rubio and have found him to be a person who understands a great many principles that I espouse myself. That is not to say that I agree wholeheartedly with anything he has said or will say. I just see him as one of the few who understand important principles. I saw this video today that pushed me even further into his camp, in spite of my not agreeing 100% with everything mentioned by him. It is just too bad that I can’t vote for him in anything coming up.

I heard about “Net Neutrality” a few years back and was not convinced by the main crux of the push for it. The people who want it say that it’s purpose is in case your Internet Service Provider decides to give more bandwidth to bigger companies, who may even pay for improved access to their site, while restricting smaller sites speeds. They want equality in site speed across the internet. It always smelled pretty weak and seemed like a made up “crisis” to me.

I am fully behind Barack Obama as candidate for president. I really want to know where I can volunteer to help out in this cause. He has already shown that he can create jobs and vastly increase exports and economic activity…
