Even though these are in other languages you will get the idea. In the first one the girl asks the old guy how he likes his new iPad:
Football for People Who Don’t Like Football
I was just discussing last night, as I watched what would appear to be a Victoria’s Secret concert that split time between a super boring first half of football and a power outage for the better part of an hour, that the Super Bowl is for people who don’t usually like football. The only reason Beyonce or Madonna would be doing the half time is that my assertion is true. Normal football fans are not generally Madonna fans. The pre-game for the Super Bowl is always filled with tons of human interest stories about the players. Many other games have these human interest stories (see Manti Te’o) but the Super Bowl ramps it up like crazy.
Well here is a video that spells out pretty well how they actually do things:
There is so much to hate about the Super Bowl, but I still watch because it is my last chance to see football until the fall after being tortured through the summer by baseball and other boring games.
Video: Missing You
I still need to stock up on my light bulbs before the ban comes in next year. Remy has done it again and made me laugh and cry at the same time:

Well two “How It Should Have Ended” videos in two consecutive posts. This one has two endings and the second one is my preferred choice.
Make this Memorial Day Special
I would be willing to wager that there are many people who don’t know why we have Memorial Day. Luckily I am here to either inform or refresh your memory on the topic.
Memorial Day was something that came about in the years following the Civil War. There are several towns, both in the north and south that lay claim to being the birthplace of the holiday. At its earliest it was called “Decoration Day” which is when people went to decorate the graves of those who died fighting. The first officially declared Memorial Day was on May 30, 1868 when both union and confederate graves were decorated at Arlington Cemetary. At this time people in southern states did not recognize that day as the holiday. That did not occur more fully until after World War 1, when it became a holiday for more than just Civil War soldiers. In 1971 it was actually, finally made a federal holiday.
Make a special point to remember those who didn’t even know you, but died for you. And also remember those who may not have died while fighting, but did fight for you. And don’t just remember them on Memorial Day or Veterans Day, just kick it up a notch on those days.
Also let’s not let the following hilarious video be true:
The Man’s Entire Catalog
“I’ll be honest with you, I love his music. I do. I’m a Michael Bolton fan. For my money, I don’t know if it gets any better than when he sings ‘When a Man Loves a Woman’.”
Mr. Bolton has been known well in mainly two areas; adult contemporary music and comedy. It is nice to see him participating in creating material for the latter for a change.

I don’t really need to say anything about this. The guys at How it Should Have Ended are hilarious geniuses.
4/17/11 to 4/23/11 – Week in Review
You were there and you lived through it but you missed a lot of it I am sure. Well let’s get you caught up rapid fire style.
When It’s Cold Outside…
Sometimes it is just better to hang out inside for months at a time, maybe do a bit of hibernating. I don’t know why I don’t wait til summer to put things like this up but here I go anyway:
Remember the Hilarity
I just posted the Star Wars Holiday Special the other day so that you might feast your eyes upon that atrocity. I just found this video that is exactly the opposite. I actually had tears from laughter.
